The Kudelski Group issues statement in response to Discovery Group's recommendation on buy out of stake by OpenTV

The Kudelski Group (SWX:KUD.VX), a provider of media content protection and value-added service technology, today (11 June) issued a statement following the latest press release by Discovery Group on 9 June 2009.

In the press release, Discovery Group reportedly recommended that OpenTV buy out Kudelski Group's economic stake in OpenTV (Nasdaq-NMS:OPTV).

The Kudelski Group confirmed that it is not interested in selling its shares in OpenTV.

The group reiterates its commitment to remain OpenTV's controlling shareholder and to protect its investment by undertaking all necessary measures to ensure its long-term success.
