Island Pacific Signs On to HP Point-of-Sale Solution Ready Program

Island Pacific Systems, Inc., a 100 percent owned subsidiary of 3Q Holdings Limited, announced that it has become one of the first members of the HP Point-of-Sale (POS) Solution Ready Program.

Through the HP POS Solution Ready Program, Island Pacific Store has been validated on HP POS systems using a verification testing process that ensures the application will operate properly with HP POS systems. Verified applications are marked with HP's Point-of-Sale Solution Ready insignia.

In addition, the program is designed to help select software providers such as Island Pacific, gain worldwide exposure to HP's broad network of retail customers, sales channel and engineering expertise.

Island Pacific Store offers retailers a feature rich POS and store operations solution, with the specialty retailer in mind. Island Pacific Store is designed to be customizable, scalable, multi-currency capable and PCI compliant. As a result of being verified for HP's POS Solution Ready Program, Island Pacific will be listed on www.hp.com/go/pos as a trusted HP software partner and will be authorized to use the HP Point of Sale Solution Ready insignia.

Island Pacific will receive negotiated partner rates on third-party services and support such as technical support to help retailers seamlessly integrate their new POS solutions into existing technology platforms, the company noted in a release.
