Samsung adds higher capacity S1 Mini HDD to S Series range

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (Korea:005930) announced on Monday the launch of a new 160GB 1.8" Mini drive as part of its S Series external hard drive range.

The South Korean company also said that it will be offering two new colours in the range, Sweet Pink and Ocean Blue. The line-up of S Series drives now includes the new 160GB drive, the 1.8" 120GB S1 Mini and 2.5" 500GB S2 Portable. The range was originally launched last October with a choice of four colours: Piano Black, Snow White, Wine Red and Chocolate Brown.

No pricing details were available.

The 160GB Mini drive is expected to be available from late June.
