SilkAir connects Hyderabad as its fourth destination in India

Singapore Airlines' regional wing, SilkAir, has launched its operations from a fourth destination in India with the arrival of its inaugural flight in Hyderabad from the South-East Asian nation this evening.

The inaugural flight (MI 478) took off from Singapore Changi airport at 1655 hours (local time) and arrived at the Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport around 1900 hours (local time), where it was given a traditional water salute," a statement from the airlines said.

On its return leg, the flight would leave Hyderabad at 2205 hours (local time) and reach Singapore a 0425 hours (local time).

Currently, the airline has been operating from Coimbatore, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
