ClearOne Communications, a provider of audio conferencing products, has introduced the ClearOne/Sony HD VC Solution, a merging of ClearOne's HDConference technology with Sony's HD video conferencing system, the PCS-XG80.
According to ClearOne, this solution results from a strategic partnership formed between ClearOne and Spire Global, the exclusive US sales, marketing and support arm for Sony's IPELA line of IP-based video conferencing endpoints and accessory products.
The combination of a ClearOne RAV 900, a ClearOne ClearPresence Dual Media Cart, a Sony PCS-XG80 HD video conferencing system, and two Sony 46 inches LCD monitors combine to provide the user with a fully-integrated video and audio conferencing solution. The simple lines and refined design of the system transform any meeting room into a productive conferencing and collaboration space, said ClearOne.
Joe Sorrentino, executive vice president of worldwide sales at ClearOne, said: "Our customers have been asking for such a solution from us for quite some time. This partnership between ClearOne and Spire Global brings together best-of-breed products from both ClearOne and Sony. This solution will broaden our reach into the conferencing market."
