Varian Medical Systems acquires assets of IKOEmed

Varian Medical Systems, Inc. has acquired the assets of IKOEmed, LLC, a supplier of software used in the planning of radiotherapy and radiosurgery treatments. Varian Medical is a designer, manufacturer, and seller of medical devices and software products for treating cancer and other medical conditions. Both the companies are based in the US.

In addition, Varian Medical has also acquired the assets of IKOEtech, LLC. Varian Medical is paying approximately $2.2 million plus an additional amount based on achievement of specified milestones to acquire the assets from IKOEmed and IKOEtech.
