'Canal Plus signs three-year Europa League broadcasting deal'

French pay TV operator Canal Plus has acquired broadcasting rights from
UEFA for the next three seasons of the Europa League football
competition, formerly called the UEFA Cup. The agreement will allow
Canal Plus to air 205 games, including 190 in live transmission. Canal
Plus Sport will offer a Europa League evening every Thursday, along the
same principle of the Champions League evenings on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays. Other Europa League games will be shown on the Sport Plus
and Foot Plus channels.
