Wachovia Insurance Services changes name to Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA

Wachovia Insurance Services has officially changed its name to Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA.

Wells Fargo has said that the name change means customers will begin seeing the Wells Fargo Insurance Services name on communications and web sites. No changes to their accounts or services are expected at this time. Customers will continue to be served by their existing insurance professionals. Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA will become a direct subsidiary of Wells Fargo Insurance Services in 2010.

Neal Aton, CEO of Wells Fargo Insurance Services, said: "Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA is now an integral part of one of the world's largest, most diversified and most respected financial services companies. Brokers will continue to provide the same outstanding service, creative thinking, and industry knowledge and experience customers are accustomed to receiving, and now with greater access to national resources."
