IDT Energy selects BP to supply power and natural gas

IDT Energy, a subsidiary of IDT Corporation, has selected BP Energy as its preferred supplier of electricity and natural gas in the state of New York.

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, BP Energy will be the supplier of choice for IDT Energy, a residential energy supply company in the state of New York serving approximately 414,000 power and gas meters.

IDT Energy said that its ability to purchase electricity and natural gas under the agreement is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions.

Geoff Rochwarger, CEO of IDT Energy, said: "We are very pleased to forge this strategic relationship with BP Energy. This agreement enhances our ability to provide our customers with competitive rates and outstanding service throughout our New York service areas."
