A.I.S. Resources Limited Announces Non-Brokered Private Placement of Preferred Shares

CALGARY, ALBERTA, Jul 8, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) --

Company: AIS Resources Ltd (AIS)

A.I.S. Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:AIS) announces that it will issue up to 2,500,000 preferred shares by way of a non-brokered private placement at a price of $0.40 per preferred share subject to certain conditions. Attributes of the preferred shares are as follows. The preferred shares have a term of five years and will be redeemable by the company, will be retractable by the holder under certain conditions, and will be convertible into common shares on a two common for one preferred basis. The preferred shares have voting rights on the basis of the common share conversion ratio.

The offering is subject to the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange and is expected to close prior to August 10, 2009.
