MindTouch Named a Strong Performer in Collaboration Platforms Category by Independent Research Firm

MindTouch, developer of one of the top open source projects in the world, today announced that it was named a strong performer against its key competitors in the August 2009 "Forrester Wave(TM): Collaboration Platforms, Q3 2009" report published by leading independent analyst firm Forrester Research, Inc. MindTouch was the only open source option in Forrester's 66-criteria evaluation of collaboration platform vendors.

According to the report, "MindTouch has built a strong offering and staked out the favored position among organizations with open source leanings." Specifically, MindTouch "represents a strong offering in the area of traditional collaboration and has addressed the Social Computing opportunity quite well.
