Aramex signs agreement with Vodafone Malta to manage logistics

Jordan-based logistics company Aramex has signed an agreement with Vodafone Malta to manage Vodafone's logistics in Malta.
As part of the agreement, Aramex will provide a range of integrated logistics services to Vodafone including network logistics, retail distribution, logistics management and support among other services.
Under the terms of the agreement, Aramex will provide a range of logistics services, including express and freight shipping, inventory management, and provision of warehouse space within its logistics center located at the Mriehel Industrial Estate in Malta.
Aramex has said that the logistics center is equipped with pallet and hand-picked racking systems, battery operated handling equipment, a complete security and fire system which include the latest CCTV facilities and a real time inventory management system that will allow Vodafone real time visibility of its incoming and outgoing inventory levels.
Additionally, Vodafone will also be provided with the facility to monitor its stocks on CCTV via intranet communications. In addition, Aramex will apply the latest logistics quality operations standards as dictated through its documented quality management system.

We already have a working relationship with Vodafone in Qatar and this agreement is a testimony of our success in meeting their requirements."
