Analysts have become more bullish about the earnings outlook for Australian-listed companies in 2009-10. The August 2009 profit reporting season has generally been more positive than many analysts had anticipated, prompting market experts to upgrade their earnings per share forecasts. Deutsche Bank is also bullish about the benchmark S&P/ASX 200, forecasting that it may test the 5,000-point level before the end of 2009.
