Delta Memorial Hospital selects HMS to supply clinical solutions suite

Delta Memorial Hospital has selected Healthcare Management Systems to supply a full suite of financial and clinical solutions for the hospital and its rural health clinic.

Healthcare Management Systems (HMS) has said that its new system will provide needed integration for the critical access hospital in Dumas, Arkansas and will also include advanced clinical technology to help the hospital achieve an electronic health record for its patients.

Paula Smith, information technology director for Delta Memorial Hospital, said: "We were looking to acquire a new system that would integrate our hospital, rural health clinic and home health agency, improve the quality of patient care and meet the federally mandated government regulations which will require us to provide electronic health records."
