FMC Technologies Received $73 Million Award From StatoilHydro

8/24/2009 - FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:FTI) announced Monday that it received an award from StatoilHydro worth $73 million for the manufacture and supply of subsea equipment for its Gullfaks oil and gas field in the Norwegian North Sea. The terms include eight subsea production trees as well as associated equipment and systems, which include flow control modules and subsea control modules. The project will be managed from FMC's operation in Norway. Deliveries will start in Q2 of 2010. FMC's Senior Vice President of Global Subsea Production Systems Tore Halvorsen said, "This award supports StatoilHydro's efforts to increase oil recovery in the North Sea and we are pleased to assist StatoilHydro in optimizing production at the Gullfaks field."
