Ikon and Omtool Ink New Reseller Pact

Ikon Office Solutions, a Ricoh company, announced that it has established a reseller relationship with Omtool, a provider of document capture and handling solutions.

Ikon will add Omtool's AccuRoute to its portfolio of legal document management solutions designed to help law firms and corporate counsel manage their entire document workflow. AccuRoute is Omtool's document scanning and distribution software solution that streamlines the capture, conversion, communication, and archiving of paper and electronic documents into enterprise information management systems, including fully-integrated fax server capabilities.

Omtool explained that by using AccuRoute, a server-based document capture and handling platform, clients can achieve secure document distribution to multiple destinations in multiple formats simultaneously with a single scan. With AccuRoute, documents are immediately accessible where and when they are needed, eliminating manual, time-consuming document handling processes.
