Microsemi Expands Line of High Voltage RF MOSFETs for Industrial, Scientific and Medical Applications
IRVINE, Calif., Aug 25, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- By Staff
Company: Microsemi Corp. (MSCC)
Microsemi Corporation (Nasdaq:MSCC), a leading manufacturer of high performance analog/mixed signal integrated circuits and high reliability semiconductors, has added a new high voltage RF MOSFET to its portfolio targeting applications in the industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) markets.
Designated the VRF141G, the new device is a two chip push-pull matched pair transistor product providing up to 175MHz operation for applications in ISM as well as communications in the FM Radio and TV channel frequency bands.
Like other devices in the Microsemi VRF MOSFET series, the VRF141G has a breakdown voltage more than 20% higher than competitive parts available in the market today. This higher breakdown voltage provides increased ruggedness in difficult service environments, or increased output power. Typical performance at 175MHz and 28V is 300W output power and 14dB gain of gain.
Key Performance Features for the VRF141G * >20% higher breakdown voltage for improved ruggedness * Low Rdson for increased efficiency * 14dB gain typical at 175MHz High VSWR * Nitride passivated and gold metallization for highest reliability
The 500 piece pricing for the VRF141G is $87.32. Contact the factory or local sales contacts for other quantities, pricing and delivery.
This new Microsemi RF MOSFET product is available for immediate sampling. Technical information is available on the Microsemi website, http://www.microsemi.com. Samples can be ordered through this site, or from Microsemi sales representatives and authorized distributors.
