California United Bank to Salute Jon Schotz & Eric Schotz

California United Bank announced that Jon Schotz and Eric Schotz will be the recipients of the Annual CUB Community Service Award.

The Company said that presentation of the award will take place at the dinner following CUB's 3rd Annual Golf Tourney on October 26, at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana. Proceeds from the event will go to the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley to help support its programs that benefit more than 2,500 children each year.

The Company noted that the evening will be filled with great food, an incredible live auction and the opportunity to take home a trophy. Participants in the tournament will enjoy a fun day of golf, including a "hole-in-one car," a "longest drive" and a putting contest. The golfing event will conclude with an awards reception and dinner at the Country Club.

"Both Jon and Eric Schotz are very deserving of this year's Community Service Award," said David Rainer, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. "Their continued leadership and contributions to both the Los Angeles business community and the West Valley Boys & Girls Club serve as important reminders that every individual can make a difference. California United Bank is dedicated to serving our community and honoring those who share that commitment."

Rainer continued, "Over the past three years, CUB's philanthropic involvement with the Boys and Girls Club has grown and we expect this year's event to be another great success. We are grateful to Eric and Jon and to all our other players and sponsors for their commitment to such a worthy organization. By working together as a community, we will continue to help today's young people become tomorrow's citizens."

Jon Schotz is a Co-founder, Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Saybrook Capital, a Los Angeles based financial services firm. Schotz has over 25 years of distressed investing and financial advisory experience, most notably in the areas of the tax-exempt market. Schotz served as the financial advisor to the Orange County Investment Pool Creditors' Committee and helped lead Saybrook's team that restructured and disposed of more than $1 billion in letter-of-credit portfolios for both domestic and Japanese banks

Eric Schotz, President and CEO of LMNO (Leave My Name Off) Productions, is a nine-time Emmy-award winner whose style and creativity has established him as one of the television industry's foremost producers/directors of non-fiction and reality-based programming. LMNO Productions, established in 1989, as a small, independent television production company, has become a full-service studio with 150 employees and over 600 programs and 50 different series to its credit.
