Optical Keyhole Hosts Content from Deutsche Telekom, NSN and Opnext

Optical Keyhole, an online source for information on the optical industry, announced it is carrying a discussion between Deutsche Telekom, Nokia Siemens Networks and Opnext on the future of 100G transmission.

The discussion is chaired by Ross Saunders, GM of Next Generation Transport at Opnext, and addresses the issues driving 100G in the network. The panel also discuss the timeframe for 100G adoption, where the first deployments are likely to occur, pricing issues and the design requirements for 100G modules.
