No rush over Thai gold deal

Companies: Kingsgate Consolidated Ltd (KSKGY), Resolute Mining Ltd (RMGGF)

Kingsgate Consolidated has reported a $32.5m net profit after tax in the year to 30 June 2009. The mining group said its board was yet to consider a $US100m ($A120m) plan to develop its Thai gold project, although a decision is expected by late September 2009. Rival group, Resolute Mining, unveiled an annual net profit after tax of $A27.4m.
