Haven Healthcare of Utah Receives Award for Quality Care Fourth Year in a Row

Haven HealthCare, a division of Professional HealthCare, and a leading provider of home nursing, rehabilitation therapy, hospice and in-home personal care in Utah, announced its receipt of the HealthInsight 2009 Quality Award. HealthInsight is the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Nevada and Utah that looks at performance on publicly reported quality of care measures from clinical and administrative data collected from home health agencies nationwide. This is the fourth consecutive year that Haven Healthcare has been among recipients of the award.

"We are proud to have been selected again for demonstrating high quality health care and excellence in performance," says John Griscavage, CEO. The company was able to rank within the 90th percentile in national home health rankings based on data collected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Quality Award identifies high performing providers to help providers improve health care and help patients become more active and informed participants in that care. "We believe transparency and accountability are very important in our industry," continues Griscavage. "The HealthInsight Quality Award builds trust through disclosure, and is fully consistent with our company's goals of integrity, compassion, and the highest quality of care."
