Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care Q4 net profit up

India-based Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care has posted a net profit of INR477.7 million, or INR14.72 per share, for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2009, as compared to INR232.40 million, or INR7.16 per share, for the same quarter ended June 30, 2008.

Total Income has increased from INR1.55 billion for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2008 to INR1.87 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

The company has posted a net profit of INR1.78 billion, or INR55.10 per share, for the year ended June 30, 2009, as compared to INR1.31 billion, or INR40.48 per share, for the year ended June 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from INR6.6 billion for the year ended June 30, 2008 to INR8.11 billion for the year ended June 30, 2009.
