EDU: PU awards PhD degree

Punjab University has awarded PhD degree to Shameem Ahmad Siddiqui S/o Nafees Ahmad Siddiqui in the subject of Biochemistry after approval of his research thesis entitled Role of Glucose and Insulin Resistance in the Development of Non-Insulin Dependent (Type 2) Diabetes Mellitus and Characteristic of Associate Health Risk in Pakistan. He completed his thesis under the supervision of Punjab University Institute of Biochemistry & Biotechnology Director Prof Dr Muhammad Waheed Akhtar while Dean Faculty of Biotechnology & Informatics, Baluchistan University of Informatics Technology, Engineering & Managements Sciences Quetta Dr Abdul Majeed Cheema was his Co-Supervisor.
