Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix Selects POS Solution by Agilysys

Agilysys, Inc., a provider of information technology and hospitality software solutions, announced that Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix has selected InfoGenesis POS by Agilysys to streamline operations at the new 35-acre water park in Arizona.

"InfoGenesis POS is used successfully at several of our sister properties and is one of the most advanced point-of-sale solutions on the market," said Scott Cooper, general manager of Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix. "We particularly like the openness of the system, its accessible user interface and its real-time reporting features. The solution will enable us to maximize efficiency, identify sales trends and make more informed business decisions."

InfoGenesis POS is an enterprise-ready point-of-sale solution that combines reporting and configuration capabilities with a touch-screen terminal application. The system, which is designed for multi-unit operations common in hospitality environments, can manage any combination of dining, bar service and gift shop operations. Features of InfoGenesis POS include audit log and electronic journal, real-time reporting, multi-language capability and sorting, filtering and grouping options. Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix has implemented InfoGenesis POS terminals in retail and food and beverage outlets throughout the park.

"In the highly competitive theme park segment of the hospitality industry, it is critical that customers select technology that enables them to maximize efficiency and gain a competitive edge," said Tina Stehle, senior vice president and general manager of Agilysys Hospitality Solutions Group. "InfoGenesis POS has a successful track record at many of the world's leading entertainment venues. Its flexibility and functionality, which are unsurpassed in the industry, will enable Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix to expedite sales and enhance guest service."

Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix is a new $30 million water park located in the Adobe Dam Regional Park in North Phoenix. The water park features Maximum Velocity, the world's first gravity-defying dueling Master Blaster water coaster, as well as more than 30 other exhilarating attractions. The park also offers 18 custom-made cabanas that include everything from private lounge chairs and ceiling fans to televisions and wait staff. Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix is owned by Village Roadshow Theme Parks USA, a part of Village Roadshow Limited in Melbourne, Australia.
