AT&T, Yahoo Execs to Keynote at CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment

International CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2009 announced that Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets; John Donovan, CTO, AT&T; and David Ko, senior vice president, Yahoo Mobile will deliver keynote addresses.
These additions to the keynote roster join Qualcomm Co-founder Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs and Chairman and CEO Dr. Paul Jacobs. International CTIA Wireless I.T. & E takes place October 7-9 at the San Diego Convention Center.
de la Vega's keynote will open the show at 9:30 am on October 7. In his dual role as President and CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets and incoming CTIA chairman, de la Vega will discuss the dynamic challenges facing the mobile industry as it drives rapid advancement, and the massive investment needed as devices, applications, networks and even emerging devices become more powerful, smarter and faster.
"Ralph de la Vega's extensive history in helping to define our industry will provide attendees with the type of executive insight that's become a hallmark of the CTIA shows," said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director for CTIA. "With the addition of John Donovan and David Ko, CTIA's fall keynote lineup will provide a broad range of perspectives on the developments fueling growth in the mobile sector."
David Ko, senior vice president, Yahoo Mobile will also deliver a keynote on October 7, discussing the latest in mobile Internet services and applications that are fueling mobile adoption globally.
AT&T Chief Technology Officer John Donovan will address the CTIA audience on Thursday, October 8 and speak to the challenges faced and lessons learned during this period of growth, as well as AT&T's network evolution strategy.
International CTIA Wireless I.T. & E is CTIA's fall show focused on mobile business. This event brings together a community of enterprise users, carriers, developers and manufacturers to generate dialogue, share ideas and debate the economics of wireless advancements.
