Acme Packet Takes Wireless Access Solutions on the Road

Acme Packet(R) (NASDAQ: APKT), the leader in session border control solutions, today announced that it will be showcasing wireless access, core session routing and network interconnect solutions at two industry wireless events in September: The 4G Wireless Evolution (4GWE) in Los Angeles (September 1--3) and 4G World in Chicago (September 15--18). Acme Packet will highlight solutions to help fixed and mobile service providers smartly simplify communications delivery and minimize costs while building a network that can deliver compelling communications services. In addition, Acme Packet will be participating in industry-leading conference discussions at both events.

Acme Packet representatives will be at both shows to demonstrate Acme Packet's solutions in the delivery of IP voice, video and data services over 3G and 4G RANs, fixed-mobile convergence networks, VoIP interconnects and core transport networks. Acme Packet will also highlight the key role its Net-Net(R) product family plays in GSMA IPX, PathFinder and Rich Communication Suite (RCS) initiatives. At 4GWE, Acme Packet will be exhibiting in booth 4G4. Don Troshynski, Technical Director at Acme Packet, will present "Giving Voice to 4G" for the Mobile Broadband Applications track on Tuesday, September 1, 12:45-2:00pm. The session will explore challenges that mobile operators face when evolving core networks to 4G LTE or WiMAX for blazing broadband access speeds, and transitioning core service networks to IMS for voice and interactive communication services. Troshynski will also participate in the Femtocell Solutions session covering femtocell security and SIP/IMS challenges and solutions.
