Deutsche Telekom's corporate customer subsidiary T-Systems has acquired
the SAP consultancy division of IT services provider Logica
Switzerland. T-Systems is integrating Logica's SAP division into its
own Systems Integration business unit. Logica Switzerland is handing
over its SAP business in order to strategically focus on other areas.
Existing customers are receiving successor agreements and can be fully
supported by T-Systems from September. Following the acquisition,
T-Systems now has two complex procedural models for SAP services in the
transportation and manufacturing industries. At the same time,
T-Systems is expanding its global partnership on SAP operations and is
now a certified SAP partner for hosting services in the Netherlands.
