Arrow Electronics' Cathy Morris Recognized as One of the "Top 100 Women in the Channel"

Arrow Electronics recently announced that M. Catherine Morris, chief strategy officer, has been recognized by Everything Channel's CRN Magazine as one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel.

The Top 100 Women in the Channel was chosen by the editors of the magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel.

Morris joined Arrow in 1994 and has more than 25 years of experience in computer products and electronic components distribution. In her current position, Morris drives strategic initiatives across Arrow, including global acquisition and merger activity. She plays a key role in Arrow's enterprise resource planning implementation to improve supply chain demand and meet future business process needs for the company's suppliers and partners.

"Cathy is a valued member of Arrow's leadership team, both as a skilled strategist and as a role model for Arrow employees worldwide," said Michael J. Long, chief executive officer for Arrow Electronics. "Cathy's collaborative approach and dedication to mentoring are real-life examples of her success and serve as inspiration for others to pursue their career interests and achieve their goals."

Morris previously served as president of Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions business, a value-added distributor representing more than 75 suppliers and more than 18,000 resellers.

"We are very pleased to see women executives reaching the highest levels in a wide range of dynamic companies. It is with great pleasure that we honor the women who have made a profound impact in the technology marketplace. We offer our congratulations to Cathy for her significant contributions to our industry," Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel.

A special feature of the Top 100 Women of the Channel is in the August issue of CRN Magazine and expanded coverage will be featured online at: channelweb.com.

Arrow Electronics is a provider of products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions.
