Sonoco to Present at J.P. Morgan 2009 Diversified Industries Conference

Sonoco, a diversified global packaging companies, will speak to the investment community on Tuesday, September 15, at the J.P. Morgan 2009 Diversified Industries Conference in New York City.

Harris E. DeLoach, Jr., chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Charles J. Hupfer, senior vice president and chief financial officer, are scheduled to speak at 3:15 p.m. Eastern Time. The audio presentation will be Webcast and can be accessed via the Internet at http://www.sonoco.com, under the "Latest News" section, and from the conference Webcast site at http://metameetings.com/webcasts/jpmorgan/industries09/directlink?ticker=SON.
