Juniper Networks Honored by Business Solutions Magazine

Juniper Networks, a provider of high-performance networking, announced it has been recognized by Business Solutions Magazine's value added reseller (VAR) subscribers with four Best Channel Product Awards for 2009.

Juniper Networks earned top honors in four categories, including best enterprise switches, best unified threat management (UTM), best Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN) appliances, and best enterprise routers. VARs gave Juniper products high marks in the areas of rich features and functionality, reliability and durability, and ease of integration and upgrades.

In selecting the winners, Business Solutions Magazine surveyed more than 2,100 verified resellers who cast more than 19,800 votes, making it one of the largest surveys of its kind, according to the magazine.

"Earning Best Channel Product distinction in four categories is impressive and reflects the confidence the channel holds for Juniper Networks' products," said Sue Bresee, publisher, Business Solutions Magazine. "These categories included several vendors and received a tremendous amount of votes, making the award for Juniper Networks all the more rewarding."

"What makes this win important is the fact that Business Solutions Magazine's Best Channel Product Awards are voted on by the channel partners directly," said Frank Vitagliano, senior vice president of Worldwide Channels, Juniper Networks. "We are thrilled to have earned Best Channel Product in all four categories and see this win as another clear indicator that our high-performance networking solutions and J-Partner Program are delivering what the channel needs to effectively market, sell and service the IT business needs of the enterprise."

The Juniper Network products voted among this year's Best Channel Products include the high-performance, carrier-class EX4200 Ethernet Switches with Virtual Chassis technology; the modular J4350 Services Router for enterprises running desktops, servers, VoIP and CRM/ERP/SCM applications; the purpose-built SSG5 security platform for small branch, teleworker and enterprise deployments; and the SA4500 SSL VPN Appliance, which enables medium-sized to large organizations to provide users with remote and extranet access from any standard Web browser.
