Sabre Travel Studios Unpacks TripCase for Blackberry Devices

Sabre Travel Studios, a division of Sabre Holdings, a travel distribution and technology provider, announced that TripCase, its free smart mobile application, is now available for download on Research in Motion's Blackberry devices.

Previously available only on the iPhone, TripCase provides a post-booking toolkit for business and leisure travelers to stay organized, informed and connected when they travel.

TripCase's technology enhances the travel experience by delivering advice, alerts and tools targeted to when and where travelers are:

- One-click access to the user's most important trip details and notes

- Automatically import or trip details from TripCase's thousands of connected travel partners or manually add flights, hotels and rental car information

- Up-to-the-minute notifications about flight delays, cancellations and gate changes; security wait times and baggage claim information; and hotel and car rental status alerts

- TripLog allows users to share their travel experiences, information, photos and plans with family, friends and colleagues

"Our goal with TripCase is to be the ultimate mobile application for travelers," said John Samuel, Senior Vice President of Sabre Travel Studios. "Not only does TripCase keep all of your key travel information at your fingertips, it is smart enough to proactively provide tips and tools that are relevant to where you are in your trip."

In addition to the iPhone and Blackberry, TripCase will be available via Windows Mobile on supporting devices this fall. (Consumers also may register for Web-based accounts if they do not have any of the supported devices.)
