Thirty-day trial subscriptions of the new MySQL Enterprise Fall 2009 Release are now available free-of-charge from http://www.mysql.com/trials.
Graphical enhancements to the MySQL Enterprise Monitor's Query Analyzer help DBAs and developers to better pinpoint database queries to avoid performance problems. With new visual correlation graphs, problem queries can now be filtered and analyzed by highlighting specific time-periods of interest with a few mouse-clicks -- making it easier to quickly find spikes in key system resources, and fix problems rooted in inefficient SQL code.
