Allen Lenzmeier Elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of American TeleCare, Inc. (ATI)

American TeleCare (ATI), Inc. announced that its board of directors has elected Allen Lenzmeier as chairman. Founded in 1993, ATI is the pioneer in the development and deployment of telehealth-supported solutions for connected care. ATI solutions establish and sustain telemedicine monitoring and care of patients, keeping them connected to clinical expertise to maintain and improve their health. Lenzmeier, who has been associated with Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE:BBY) for 25 years, joined the ATI board in September 2008.

"ATI is developing partnerships with health systems to leverage physicians' clinical expertise and transform care for patients with the highest burden and complexity of disease. With our opportunities expanding and our company growing, now is the time for ATI to tap the best executive leadership experience," said Randy Moore, M.D., M.B.A., who continues to serve as chief executive officer of American TeleCare. Allen Lenzmeier joined Best Buy Co., Inc. in 1984 and before his retirement in February 2009 served the company in various capacities, including vice president and chief financial officer, president of Best Buy Retail Stores, president and chief operating officer, and vice chairman. He is a director of Best Buy and also serves on the board of UTStarcom, Inc. (NASDAQ:UTSI). In addition, Mr. Lenzmeier is a national trustee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and serves on its Twin Cities board in Minnesota.
