General merchandise retailer 99 Cents Only Stores has selected MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence software solutions, for enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
99 Cents Only Stores plans to use MicroStrategy-based reports and information dashboards for insights into product sales, store operations, inventory management, and merchandising, according to MicroStrategy.
MicroStrategy has said that its at-a-glance dashboards will provide actionable information, enabling 99 Cents Only Stores's personnel to monitor key business metrics, quickly identify trends, and enhance decision-making.
Terry Rountree, director of application development at 99 Cents Only Stores, said: "MicroStrategy's proven experience in retail business intelligence and seamless integration with Netezza were important to us as we selected our new BI partner. With MicroStrategy's user-friendly dashboards, our employees will be able to view large volumes of data in a highly interactive way to make timely, data-driven decisions."
