Cherokee to Present at 2 Upcoming Investor Conferences

Cherokee Inc., a licensor and global brand management company, announced that Russell J. Riopelle, Chief Financial Officer, will present at the following two investor conferences:

- The CL King Best Ideas Conference to be held on September 16-17, at The Omni Berkshire Place Hotel in New York, NY. The presentation will take place on Thursday, September 17, at 12:15 PM Eastern Time.

- The Thomas Weisel Partners Consumer Conference to be held on Thursday, October 1, at The New York Palace Hotel in NYC. The presentation will take place at 8 AM Eastern Time.

The Company's presentation at the Thomas Weisel Partners Consumer Conference will be webcast live and can be accessed by going to the Investor Relations portion of the Company's website at http://www.thecherokeegroup.com. The webcast will also be available by replay.

Cherokee Inc., based in Van Nuys, is a marketer, licensor and manager of a variety of brands it owns (Cherokee, Sideout, Carole Little and others) and represents.
