Simon Webster Joins nlyte Software

nlyte Software, the leading provider of Data Center Performance Management (DCPM) solutions, today announced that Simon Webster has joined the company as Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Operations and will oversee all the field marketing, sales, pre-sales, and customer services functions. Webster brings more than 20 years experience in enterprise software and has a proven track record in executive management.

Prior to nlyte Software, Webster was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Touchpaper, a provider of IT business and service management solutions, where he was responsible for defining, leading and executing the company's global sales strategies. After their acquisition by Avocent in 2008, Webster stayed on to successfully integrate and run their Northern European operation.

Prior to Touchpaper, Webster was Vice President and General Manager, Northern Europe for Peregrine Systems. During his two-year tenure, he was a key member of the executive management team and facilitated the turnaround of Peregrine Systems that led to their successful acquisition by HP in 2005.

Webster has also held a variety of global sales, sales management and general management roles at large organizations including ICL and HP. In addition, Webster helped build Siebel Systems' financial services business and drove the development of the Enterprise Resource Management team across EMEA.

"I am delighted to have Simon join our executive leadership team," said Jon Temple, nlyte Software President and CEO. "Simon brings a wealth of enterprise software leadership experience, which is ideally suited to help accelerate our leadership position in Data Center Performance Management."

"I'm very excited to be joining nlyte Software," said Webster. "As a leader in its category, nlyte provides data center management with the insight to optimize resources, improve financial and operational performance and implement green IT initiatives. I'm looking forward to building on the strong foundations we've already laid down, and to help take the company to the next level."
