On September 19th, 2009, Russell Brewing Is Supporting the Steve Nash Foundation's 'Showdown in Downtown' in Vancouver

BC based Microbrewery, the Russell Brewing Company (TSX VENTURE:RB), proudly supports the Steve Nash Foundation Showdown in Downtown, a free celebrity soccer match featuring two-time NBA MVP, Steve Nash & friends, this Saturday, September 19th, 2009 at David Lam Park in downtown Vancouver.

This will be a one-of-a-kind community event, boasting a street festival beer garden and an eight-a-side soccer match. Steve Nash and his team of fellow NBA players and footballers will face off against local soccer favorites, our own Vancouver Whitecaps FC Men's team and Whitecaps FC Residency program team members.

Beergarden sponsor Russell Brewing, will donate proceeds to the Steve Nash Foundation, funds raised support a variety of important youth-based organizations. For more information please visit www.stevenash.org.
