Sep 16, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --
HSBC Bank Vietnam has partnered with Vietnam Posts to offer its banking services through the network of post offices managed by Vietnam Posts.
Though the partnership, HSBC will allow its retail customers in Vietnam to make credit card and other payments at post offices. Corporate clients can receive cash payments and data from their customers at post offices, reported Reuters.
The news source has quoted Do Ngoc Binh, general director of Vietnam Posts, as saying that the partnership will allow both parties to expand their businesses through diversification and provide value-added services to domestic and international customers.
