iGATE Named Among Top 20 Best IT Employers in India

iGATE (Nasdaq:IGTE), the integrated Technology and Operations (iTOPS) company, announced being ranked second in Dataquest-IDC's (DQ-IDC) annual survey of the top 20 Best IT Employers in India.

For the third year in a row, iGATE was ranked among the top employers due to its excellent and innovative work culture coupled with a best-in-class performance management and career planning system.

"It's heartening to see iGATE being named among the top three employers in India for the third year in a row by DQ-IDC Best Employer Survey," said Dr Srinivas Kandula, Global Head-Human Resources, iGATE. "We continue to invest in state-of-the-art people management practices, regardless of the economic condition and we are delighted that there is external recognition for the work we are doing."

Participating IT companies across India entered a two-part process to determine the DQ-IDC Best Employers. The first part consisted of selecting companies based on five key parameters such as Employee Size, Average Tenure (years), Total Average Training, Retention Rate, and Average Salary Hike (%). The second part consisted of a confidential Employee Satisfaction survey. The combined scores from both the process determined the top companies and final ranking.
