Agile Property H1 Turnover Surged 140%

Agile Property Holdings Limited (SEHK:3383) announced its interim report, showing that its turnover hit CNY 5.613 billion in the first half of 2009, surging 139.5% over the same period of a year earlier.

Gross profits hit CNY 1.915 billion, leaping 71.6% over the same period of a year earlier; net profit touched CNY 706 million, with a year-on-year surge of 144.8% deducting one-time profits of CNY 4.145 billion from the sale of equities in a project in Hainan Province, south China.

The real estate developer witnessed account sales of about 875,889 square meters or CNY 5.489 billion in the first half of this year, rocketing 214% and 144% over the figure in the same period of a year earlier, respectively.

Meanwhile, the developer will continue supplementing and adjusting land reserves in accordance with its development need and market condition. The company has purchased five plots in the third quarter of 2009, with a total building area of some 1.9 million square meters.
