US Airways to install Panasonic's eX2 system on A330-200 fleet

Panasonic Avionics, a US-based provider of in-flight entertainment and communication systems, has said that US Airways is installing its eX2 system on 15 Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The decision to install eX2 system was part of the airline's initiative to enhance its trans-Atlantic business class service. As a result of the upgrade, the airline's passengers will be able to take benefit of in-flight entertainment system.
According to Panasonic, along with in-seat audio and video on demand for the full aircraft, US Airways passengers will be able to choose from movies, television programming, music CDs and a number of applications.
Paul Margis, CEO of Panasonic Avionics, said: "The Panasonic eX2 system offers the very best in a fully digital in-flight entertainment network. As more carriers seek to differentiate their service and optimize the in-flight entertainment experience of their passengers, more and more are turning to the functionality, flexibility and reliability of eX2."
