Wound Care Innovations acquires BioPharma Management Technologies

Wound Care Innovations, LLC, a subsidiary of Wound Management Technologies, Inc., has acquired BioPharma Management Technologies, Inc., a developer of topical pain management products. Both the companies are based in the US.

Wound Management is a provider of collagen-based wound care products to healthcare providers such as physicians, clinics, and hospitals.

Under the terms of the agreement, BioPharma Management is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Wound Management in exchange for 4.5 million shares of Wound Management's common stock.

Update on June 16, 2009:

Wound Care has reached an agreement in principle to acquire BioPharma Management.

The transaction would be structured as a share exchange pursuant to which BioPharma Management would become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wound Management in exchange for 5 million shares of Wound Management common stock.
