San Leon Energy Plc, an Ireland-based oil and gas exploration company, has raised GBP6.3 million by a way of placing ordinary shares with institutional and other investors. Under the offering, San Leon has issued 41,866,666 new ordinary shares at a price of GBP0.15 per share to investors.

Arbuthnot Securities and Fox-Davies Capital acted a placement agent to the transaction.
