IHS acquires Environmental Support Solutions

Company: IHS Inc (IHS)

IHS, Inc., a provider of technical information, decision-support tools, and related services, has acquired Environmental Support Solutions, Inc., a provider of environmental, health and safety (EHS), and crisis management software, for $59 million in cash. Both the companies are based in the US.

Earlier, Environmental Support Solutions raised venture capital funding from Grayhawk Venture Partners, Harvard Investments, and CSL Equity Investments.
