Perfecto Mobile Launches a New Vodafone Widgets Testing Solution

Perfecto Mobile, a leading provider of remote access and automated testing solutions for mobile devices, today announced the launch of a new testing solution for Vodafone Widgets. The solution will enable Vodafone Widgets developers from all over the world to test whether their newly developed widgets work properly on a wide variety of real mobile devices.

Perfecto Mobile will demonstrate its innovative testing solution at the Over the Air event, a free grass-roots mobile developer event that will take place on September 25th-26th 2009 in the UK.

The new Vodafone Widgets Testing solution by Perfecto Mobile enables developers to access and control over the web a variety of mobile devices operating on the Vodafone network. Instead of purchasing many devices, Widget developers can easily remotely install their widgets onto the Perfecto Mobile devices and test them. Perfecto Mobile will make additional new devices available for Widget developers once they are introduced to the market.

The Perfecto Mobile devices run the Vodafone Widgets Application Manager and enable quick and efficient widgets testing. The service also introduces Structured Test Flows, that help widget developers ensure the completeness of their tests by following test scenarios based on Vodafone guidelines. This will enable developers to keep a record of their tests, improve their widgets' quality, and increase the chances of these widgets to get approved and certified.
