Microsoft Releases Free Security Software (MSFT,MFE,SYMC)

9/29/2009 - Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) said Monday that its new free security program will be available for download on Tuesday, according to an AP report. Microsoft Security Essentials updates daily and won't slow down computers, according to the company, which also said that it isn't out to steal business from McAffee (NYSE:MFE) and Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC).
