New Century Investments Targets Trump Entertainment Resorts

New Century Investments is seeking to participate with the restructuring of Trump Entertainment Resorts. The gaming company, which was taken bankrupt earlier this year, is in the process of emerging from bankruptcy as a reorganized entity.

"We have been following this company since the end of '08 and feel now is the time for us to make our move. We have assembled some of the nation's top turnaround talent to aide us if we get our way. Atlantic City needs a new face and we can help, but it will take all the properties united to bring patrons back. If new money is not brought and projects like Revel are not completed, the city will continue on a downhill direction that it can never recover from. Our partners are the people who see the true potential of Atlantic City and want it to succeed," says Artin Afsharjavan CIO New Century Investments.

Newly appointed Chairman of New Century Investments Dr. Richard Feller states his optimism on the opportunities that exist in Atlantic City. "Within the foreseeable future, we see Atlantic City returning to greatness and we at New Century will do whatever possible to assist in the process. We have ongoing dialogue with multiple gaming establishments and look forward to New Century entering this arena in 2009."

New Century Investments, a private equity fund based in the greater Washington, DC area was created by a group of high level executives looking to maximize on current economic conditions. New Century retained the 21 year old business mogul Artin Afsharjavan early this year to head its strategic investments.
