'Sierra Wireless integrates Anyware Technologies'

Anyware Technologies has become an integrated business unit of Sierra Wireless, and the Anyware Technologies brand is being discontinued. M2M services provider Anyware Technologies was acquired by Wavecom in February 2008. As part of the integration process, the open source services arm of Anyware Technologies will be spun off as an independent enterprise. Based in Toulouse, the new enterprise will focus on IT and web consulting and will continue to support the open source development of the Ametys CMS tool suite. The new Sierra Wireless business unit will provide services that allow systems integrators, key accounts and telecom operators to roll out complete M2M servies for remote equipment management.
