GlobeStar Wins Outstanding Business Achievement Award

GlobeStar Mining Corporation ("GlobeStar") (TSX:GMI), is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to receive the Outstanding Business Achievement Award for Corporate Governance.

GlobeStar would like to thank the Ontario Chamber of Commerce for recognizing the hard work and dedication of its board of directors, management team and employees, and their commitment to best practices in the areas of environmental responsibility, community development and corporate governance.

The award will be presented at the 2009 Outstanding Business Achievement Awards Gala which honours Ontario businesses for their innovation and successful business practices. The Gala event will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Wednesday November 25, 2009.
