Intermedia Expands into Switch and Data East Coast Data Center to Increase Geographic Diversity and Network Resiliency

Switch and Data (NASDAQ:SDXC), a leading provider of network-neutral data center and Internet exchange services, announced today that Intermedia, the leading hosted Microsoft Exchange provider, has added a Switch and Data site on the East Coast as its fourth data center to support its growing Microsoft Exchange hosting business. This new site adds geographic diversity and network resiliency to allow Intermedia to meet the unprecedented demand of small- and medium-sized businesses for a hosted email solution that offers enterprise-grade performance and reliability.

Service features include: remote hands services, complete equipment installations, power on and off, equipment reboots and equipment monitoring. TechSmart makes it easy for companies to scale their geographic footprint while minimizing time and travel demands on its own network support team.
